The Hollow World in Claiming Cosmos: a broken shell around a burning core, lakes on the shards, and void through the gaps.
The world did not explode. It emptied. The core still burns in the hollow, and the shell rides around it in pieces. Captains who dive the gap say the inner glow is a lighthouse and a furnace at once.
Voidships use the gaps as doors into the interior. The core is volcanic land — take it for a Starport that looks every shard in the face. Lakes on the green crust still want Harbors. Do not ignore the moons; they are the cheap spawn that flanks the shell.
